Some important notes to keep in mind when self-publishing on Amazon:
- You can set up a series of books without having written all of the books in the series. Additionally, you can delete books from the series in the future.
- Only indicate the edition number if you have significantly changed or plan to change your book.
- Once you choose your name (real or pen name), it cannot be changed going forward.
- Choosing a Primary Marketplace country does not limit the availability of your book to that country.
- Choose categories carefully when listing your book. Ensure they accurately represent your book.
- A low-content book contains minimal text, like a fill-in journal for buyers.
- A large-print book has a font size of 16 or larger and can be offered alongside a standard print version.
- Use all seven keywords available, avoiding using any of the selected categories. Keywords should reflect the book's content.
