It Can be Overwhelming
When I self-published my first book on Amazon, it involved a LOT of trial and error. I'd like to save you some of the aggravation I experienced.
Self-publishing your work can be rewarding - if you do it right and promote the hell out of it.
In this five-part course, I tell you what you need to know about getting your manuscript ready, creating (or hiring someone to create) an attention-grabbing cover, figuring out who your target readers are and choosing keywords and categories that will help them find your book. The most important lesson of all involves promoting your book. I break down no-cost and low-cost ways to do it, and tell you a cautionary tale about how I blew thousands of dollars on a so-called publicist.
